Wordress for iPhone is officially here. I just heard word from JP, my man on the scene that seems to hear about things a week in advance of me (every time) that the app was out and sure enough it is live and open for business.
When iPhone announced that Typepad has released a blogging app for the iPhone I almost switched my blog over immediately. I’m a jumper like that, each time a new thing comes out I jump on it (bad bad bad idea) but lucky for me I held off.

So Pawel Ciszewski has finally made his presence known over at wpdesigner.com. In his own words he describes himself as an “online entrepreneur who actively pursues many differenet internet ventures and actively acquire sites that I feel are valuable resources to the Internet and will be profitable long term.” Oh shit… wpdesigner.com is done.
I don’t mean done as in it will not be visited by anyone, I’m saying it’s the end of an era (albeit a short one) on the site. It was recently announced that the popular WP Theme site wpdesigner.com was purchased by someone named Pawel Ciszewski. This has been fully covered on other sites and is not news at this point. The problem is… that neither is Pawel Ciszewski.
Small Potato, the former owner of the site announced the purchase and the Ciszewski name almost 3 days ago and since that time we have heard absolutely nothing from him. For Pawel Ciszewski this could spell big problems. Why? Recently a sector of the Wordpress community has been buzzing about the sale of the popular WP theme site wpdesigner.com. The site’s owner (previous owner) Small Potato has been fairly quiet over the last few weeks regarding the details of what is going on and I was excited (I’m lame I know) to hear that he was going to do an interview via podcast with someone from Jeffro2pt0.com, a site I’ve never heard of that supposedly does a weekly podcast on all things Wordpress.
Tonight, I got some time to download the interview and hear what Small Potato had to say about the site, the themes and his future. Site owner “Small Potato” shocked his loyal readers about a week ago by posting an article (after days of silence) that he was selling the popular blog / Wordpress theme site that has become a favorite destination of hundreds interested in all things Wordpress, myself included. I first came across the site while looking for new Wordpress themes (I’m addicted) and really liked some of the work he was putting out at the time.
I have a severe addiction to finding new Wordpress themes. I really don’t know what I’m going to do about it… if you hear of a WP 12 step group starting, please let me know.
