IMGrind Forum Is Now Free

The guys over at IMGrind just announced that their private forum is now public. I think it used to cost around $150/month and now it is completely free.

The forum popped up a few years ago and has had a good buzz and membership ever since. I’ve never seen the actual forum, I’m not a big fan of paying memberships.

Their focus seems to be on mobile, but there is probably a ton of cool, new info in there for anyone that wants to check it out.

Why this is good news:

  • If you’re new this is another great place to grab some tips and tricks
  • There is most likely a boatload of mobile info posted
  • There may be a lot of previously-private follow alongs in there you can steal from
  • I saw Ryan speak at a conference a few years back and he’s a smart guy

I’d guess that if they’re making the forum free, it’s basically a user-grab so they can build a bigger group to advertise and sell other things to. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s the way things are done these days. I don’t have a problem being advertised to while I’m using a free product.

Here’s a 6 minute video where they explain everything else:

Like I said, I can’t vouch for the quality of the forum, it could be complete crap but at the price of $0.00 it’s definitely worth the price of admission.

Check it out at the IMGrind Forum.

I heard good stuff about them, but not a big fan of paying money either when someone such as yourselves are providing high solid content for free. Thanks!

yeah, kinda nuts to pay $150/month to read noob follow alongs and get answers to your questions from a few established affiliates.

Strange move. I have been following them for a while now, even if I don’t do mobile but they seem to be one of the best out there. Definitely worth checking the forum..

Ruck is a smart person… I think they just make IMGrind more bigger then sell it like what Warrior Forum did.

I’m sorry but I don’t think that’s it. And to be honest that was quite a lackluster acquisition, even for Warriorforum. Cause with the kind of money VCs and the like are spending (next dot-com bubble in the making, anyone?), it kinda ammounts to peanuts.

IMgrind was probably making more than that only in subscriptions. But I bet Ruck & team are making WAY more than that (like many times over) with their mobile CPA Network & mobile tracking tool.

Ruck is one of the smartest affiliate marketing businessmen, I ever had the pleasure and fortune to read (along with Alex Tsatkin who sold his network to a megacompany and landed a dream job). Clever enough to get early into the massive market, mobile internet is now.

But he knows he’s going against big smart money sooner or later (most mainstream networks can’t hold a candle to them in mobile right now, cause they waited too long). One of the “other” big mobile networks just raised $XX,XXX,XXX in capital already, from outside investors, at the drop of a hat.

Of course that comes with “attachments”, and Ruck has always being against that, or taking any kind of outsider investment (is all in his posts). Affiliates are after all, one kind of “short-term investor” (spending their own time, money & expertise, to run campaigns), that doesn’t hold equity or ask for a royalty. But ROI is so huge, I’d much rather be an affiliate than a trader, bar none.

So it only make sense to “open the floodgates”, to a lot more potential affiliates for Revived Media and customers for their tracking software Imobitrax (which I hear is awesome, but with another contender called voluum in the making, and prosper202 trying to wake the heck up to mobile already).

Anyway I have deepest respect and admiration for Ruck & Ryan’s work. If it wasn’t for their mobile manifesto (which was free, public and freaking great), I’d still be in affiliate hell, and not making any money in mobile. So I can only imagine the caliber of the knowledge they got in a paid forum turned free.

      Cheers to that.

Revivedmedia went offline? Are they off now?
